I was commissioned to produce a short promo video for Simply the Best Events who provide corporations, large charities and institutions with a wide and varied range of inflatables suitable for all ages. At the last count, they owned around 300.
“My idea is to bring out the inner child that my generation has inside, which does not go to sleep because of so much angst over the day-to-day routine. With so much going on, you start tuning out emotions and surprises.”
On the day of the event, there were far fewer members of the public attending. despite this unforeseen circumstance (and after an attendance of 40,000 per day had been promised by the main event organisers), I still needed to get the shots down and the film nailed to produce a promo video that showed people having fun.
I also filmed some interviews, with The Digital Viking as the interviewer, as an added bonus for Simply The Best Events. This then produced a more complete package for sharing on social media and the new website of Simply The Best Events.
It sounds corny, but I've promised my inner child that never again will I ever abandon myself for anything or anyone else again. Wyonna Judd.
